The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) mission began in the United Kingdom, as a house fellowship in 1988, it later grew into a church situated in London.

The church has now grown to over 700 parishes in the United Kingdom.

In 1998 renewed efforts were made to build upon the previous vision of Sam Ileoma who started a parish of the church in Aberdeen (Scotland) in 1996. Pastor Chris Gbenle took over the leadership of the church in Aberdeen (Fountain of Love) under the supervision and guidance of Pastor Kola Bamigbade as the Senior Pastor.

In March 2011, Victory Assembly Banchory was founded as a church plant of Fountain of Love Aberdeen, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), and the progress we have made since these years of humble beginnings serves as a constant reminder that God can use the seemingly insignificant to make a difference. Through the grace of God, church services took place at the Function Suit of the Burnett Arms Hotel until the end of June 2013. Regular Meetings now holds at the Banchory Primary School Hall, Abaedie Road, Banchory.

The Lord has placed a passion for growth and development of individuals and our local community in the heart of Victory Assembly Banchory Church. We believe that God has called us as a local church to be part of the end time army to restore Banchory and its environs back to the ancient path. This passion is a desire to see people from all the nations of the earth living in Banchory and environ free from all oppressions of the devil.

As a local Church we are actively involved in a monthly half hour service at the Inchmalo Retirement Home. Joining with the elderly to sing hymns and read Psalms brings lovely memories of the measureless bounds of the love of God towards all class of mankind. The Church also engages in monthly Interdenominational praise and worship session tagged Shiloh Hour (last Saturday of every month 12:45pm- 13:45pm) at the Banchory Town Hall.
